The holiday season brings out the child in all of us, so it's only fitting to watch movies that take us back to our youth. And, if you have children of your own, Christmas movies are a great way to share your childhood favorites and discover new ones. As Buddy navigates New York City and normal living, he helps his father realize what really matters in life. * '''A Christmas Story (1983)''': All Ralphie wants for Christmas is a Red Ryder BB gun, but can't seem to convince his parents, his teacher, and the mall Santa that he should have one. Meanwhile, Ralphie must put up with two local bullies and other childhood obstacles as Christmas Day approaches. * '''The Year Without Santa Claus (1974)''': Can Jingle and Jangle Bells find Santa (who is on vacation because of a cold) and convince him that everyone still has the Christmas spirit? However, their journey isn't a smooth one. In order to get to sunny Southtown, they must convince Heat Miser and Snow Miser to make it snow.
